Sharing some sights of Chicago

What a treat:  A gorgeous  sunny warm fall day to meander around Chicago  with Iphone in hand.  Here’s a few of the sights I captured.  Just to enjoy.

I never tire of the plantings along Michigan Avenue. They are changed every season and always different. This streetcape packs a visual punch because of the single color.  One time I was here and enjoyed decorated refrigerators.  Another time artistically painted hearts.  One never knows…….

Store fronts amaze me.  Decorating a window isn’t enough.  The entire store is done up to “make a statement.”  Here are a couple that catch the eye.

 Burberry and Ikram.

Chicago is clearly loving Halloween. A huge spider landed on a car in front of the Peninsular Hotel and decided to stay.  How about the spider on the front of this museum?   One can’t miss the ghosts in Navy Pier— wafting to and fro in the breeze.

This sign can’t be missed.  It revolves and screams out some kind of message in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art.   Will head there today to check it out.

People Watching is at its best this time of year……..you never know what you’ll see.  Here’s case in point.

And finally, the Chicago Shakespeare Theater on Navy Pier.  This was my first visit and won’t be my last.  Jewel of a theater and wonderful presentation of Sunday in the Park with George.

Enjoyed the fun pictures you took in Chicago–especially the matching blue hair and blue shoes!
