Lake Tahoe reveals many views.

I am absolutely fascinated with Lake Tahoe.  The mountains.  The colors.  The beautiful white pines.  Having grown up in Michigan surrounded by the Great Lakes I had no idea that another truly amazing lake existed in our country.  Lake Tahoe is truly a Wow. I can see why folks from all over California flock here.  I’m trying to figure out how to come back. For the moment,  I’ll simply post some photos I took today for the pure pleasure of it.  Enjoy!

I took the next two photos the same afternoon of the same lake.  Today.  Lake Tahoe.  The difference in the water color is almost not to be believed but it’s true.  I didn’t doctor the photos. This is an accurate representation of what I saw–the color of the water in the  Caribbean islands. This area is called Sand Harbor and is known for its soft, sandy beaches and turquoise waters.  Stunning. Truly Stunning.

Lake Tahoe is one of my favorite places in the country — I grew up in northern California and this was always a “go to” spot for all ages during all seasons.

    Glad you’ve enjoyed it!
